Can I Get Her Back?

June 30th, 2009

Are you always wondering how you can get back with your ex girlfriend? Well, you should first understand that getting back together is a very delicate situation. Your ex girlfriend’s feelings are still hurt such as your feelings are hurt too. That’s why it is very important that you are careful about what you are actually doing, or else both of your feelings will be hurt even more. Consider the following tips in how to get back with your ex girlfriend.

1 - It is the most important thing to know what was it that you did that made your ex girlfriend broke up with you? Many girls often do not break up with a guy they love so easily. There must be a really good reason behind why she broke up with you, even if you may not be aware of what it really is. Your first step is to figure out what went wrong in the relationship. Find out whether it could have been prevented, and in what ways can you now fix it since you already realize the real reason behind the break up.

2 - Did your ex girlfriend break up because it was completely your fault? If it is your own fault, then you should let your ex girlfriend know that you realize your mistakes and what has happened, and that you know it was all your fault. You apologize to her and express that you are genuinely sorry for your actions that made her very upset and get mad at you that she broke up with you.

3 - Even though you are trying your best to court your ex girlfriend again, you still need to socialize and go out. Just because you and your ex girlfriend have broken up does not mean that you also need to isolate yourself from everyone else. You can date another girl, or at least go out and have some fun with your friends. A bit of jealousy can work to your own advantage and help you get them back. them back.

4 - You can show your ex girlfriend that you do still care about her, even if you might have already moved on. It is essential for her to know if you really want her back. Let her know that you still have feelings for her. You will be more desirable and more mature in her eyes, and that will make her want you back.

5 - Do make friends with your ex girlfriend again. This is very important so that you can build up her trust on you once again, and will help you to get her back. You should also casually ask her why she broke up with you but do not appear desperate. you can get her answer whether she thinks the break up was a mistake, or it is really all over with her and the break up was for good. Once you have her answer, you can move on from there.

Anyone who suffers from cold sores knows how disturbing and painful these problem can be. I am sure anyone wants to know the secret to getting rid of cold sores forever. There is no one surefire method, however, there are various easy things you can do to see what works best for you.

The virus that causes cold sores is carried by over 90 percent of people, so it is unlikely that you can actually get rid of the virus entirely and keep from contracting it again. However, it is possible to keep it from becoming active and actually causing sores, and it is possible to quickly nip any of these sores in the bud.

Since the cold sore virus does not like cold, one of the best ways to keep it from activating is to start using ice to cool off your mouth whenever you start to feel a cold sore coming. This will likely help in getting rid of cold sores.

I will recommend you to take a multi-vitamins and mineral supplements as this keeps the virus from becoming active. You can try other remedies such as alcohol, fresh aloe, and oregano or garlic oils

This will help to insure that you have all of the necessary nutrients to keep your immune system running smoothly, and it will also help make the environment in your mouth more alkaline and thus less friendly for the cold sore virus.

Bodybuilding Tips, Avoid Overtraining if You Want to See Results

June 28th, 2009

It seems that you are trying to get yourself in shape. It’s likely that you’re spending hours in the gym doing intense weight lifting. If you’re not, then it’s probably true that you’re not going to get the results you want and you’ll need to step up.

Remember that overtraining can hurt you just like not training enough. When you work too hard, you are not giving your body the time that it needs to stop and rest. When your body doesn’t have the time and the resources that it needs to recover from the weightlifting that you want to do, you are going to see some serious problems.

To really understand the risks that go with overtraining, you should first understand how your body builds muscle. Remember that when you are going to the gym, you are not exactly creating muscle; you are creating tiny wounds and tears in your muscle that your body needs to repair and bulk up.

When these injuries heal and repair, they heal and repair stronger than they were previously. Therefore, when you’re building muscle, you’re actually breaking down muscle first, and then letting your body rest and repair in between; this process is what actually “builds” muscle.

When you overtrain, you’re not giving your body the rest it needs in between workouts to properly build and repair. What this means is that you’re actually preventing muscle from building.

What are the symptoms of overtraining and how can you recognize if you are doing it? Catching yourself before it gets out of hand is essential.

Remember that when you are working too hard, you’ll be exhausted but you are not going to see any results. Not seeing results is bad enough when you are looking at all the time that you are putting in, but there are other things that you should keep an eye on as well.

Your testosterone levels will go down. If you don’t let yourself recover between your workout sessions, your testosterone level is going to drop.

Another thing that you might notice is that you are going to start gaining fat. Not only will your muscles feel like they aren’t going anywhere, you will find that your body is going to get softer. Not only does your testosterone drop, your cortisol goes up. Cortisol controls stress in your body and encourages weight gain.

Have you ever noticed that when you overtrain your body is going to get sick more and more easily? The issue with overtraining is that your immune system takes a severe beating and if you notice that you are much more susceptible to colds and flu, you should take a moment and slow down.

Loss of muscle mass. Finally, it bears repeating that when you overtrain, you lose muscle; you don’t gain it. Since this is the absolute opposite of what you actually want to accomplish, a good bodybuilding regimen is in order to help you both avoid the symptoms and get the muscle you want.

How to fix this problem? It’s very easy, rest and nutrition are the key factors. When you’re bodybuilding, your pattern should be one day of intense weightlifting followed by one day of rest.

On your rest day, you may like to do some light cardio to make sure that you don’t stiffen up, but remember that you should rest. Your muscles need the time to recover and to repair themselves.

Finally, remember that when you want to build up bigger muscles that your body needs the tools to do it. Go for lean proteins, fruits and vegetables. This will help you get the results that you need and it will keep you healthy while you do so!

My First Attempt At Acai Berry Recipes

June 26th, 2009

I just saw the Rachel Ray acai berry show, and since Rachel Ray has such spectacular recipe ideas, I was a little disappointed that she didn’t try to incorporate acai berry juice into a fun recipe. Since then I have tried a number of acai berry juices, which are fine on their own, but I thought that it was time that I try to experiment and see if I could create some interesting acai berry recipes.

My most popular dish at home is a baked chicken breast with a spicy citrus marinade, so I thought perhaps I could invent a chicken dish with acai berry juice substituted in for one of the citrus juices I normally use. As long as I kept my marinade time the same as usual (at least 6 hours in the refrigerator), I thought I couldn’t go wrong trying out a citrus acai marinade.

I cut the chicken breast into strips and pour acai juice and some extra virgin cold pressed olive oil over the pieces. In an effort to cut the sweetness, I added some sea salt and crushed capers. The result was interesting and got fairly good reviews. I didn’t like it as much as my stand by marinades so I won’t be likely to repeat this recipe. Also I ended up tossing much of the acai goodness down the drain which entirely defeats the health benefits of acai berry juice. Additionally, acai is more expensive than lime juice or orange juice so it was a slightly expensive experiment.

Let’s think of something else that might be Rachel Ray acai berry recipe worthy. I thought of an acai berry frozen yogurt that was quick and simple to make, but this one turned out delicious! First, because I am going to add juice to the yogurt, we need to drain some liquid so it won’t form too many ice crystals once it’s frozen. Start by draining a pint of plain (low fat) yogurt with a colander and cheese cloth in the fridge for a day. Once it’s has drained, discard the liquid, and now whip in 1/2 a cup of acai berry juice. At this point it actually makes a wonderful spread or dip.

So once the yogurt and acai berry mixture has been mixed and whipped, put it in a Tupperware and freeze it for a minimum of 6 hours. Once it is frozen to your taste - some people prefer just a chilled version, others like really hard frozen yogurt - serve, and enjoy! This recipe so far is the favorite, and versatile as well. You can use it as a non-frozen bagel spread, or throw it in the freezer for a frozen version perfect for a hot summer day.

Last but not least, I wanted to make a recipe for the tried and true fruit smoothie, except make it an acai berry special. In a blender add ice, a frozen banana (this makes the smoothy extra creamy by allowing you to add less ice), some plain yogurt, and 3/4 cup of acai juice. If you want to make a great all around breakfast smoothie, add some wheat germ to get a bit of extra fibre and protein.

With a little imagination acai can be incorporated into many different recipes. Without much thought I was able to create a main course, desert and a smoothie. Although Rachel Ray acai berry recipes do not seem to currently exist I will continue looking and in the meantime I will be creating and writing about my own recipes.

Cause of Tinnitus: Do You Know Why You Have Tinnitus?

June 25th, 2009

After years of research, the main causes of tinnitus are finally revealed. Discover the causes of tinnitus in this article.

The nerves of the ear serve the function of generating electric signals which are received by the brain. The signals are originated by the pressures of the external waves of sound, that come in contact with the highly sensitive, small-sized hairs that are located in the inner regions of the ear. These signals are interpreted as sound by the brain. However, such smooth processing of sound by the brain gets interrupted in cases where the hairs of the inner ear are destroyed or deformed in some way. In such a scenario, all that the brain receives are abnormal noises, like the sounds of a whistle, a ring, or a simple whoosh. These noises are, in turn, transferred to the ear, as a result of which, the affected person gets to listen these weird sounds. When a person hears these strange sounds, in the absence of any likely source for them, tinnitus is what is affecting him/her.

There are certain triggers of tinnitus that are often mistaken as the actual causes. An open mind is required while analyzing an extremely problematic disease, like tinnitus, particularly since it can happen from several causes. As an example, let us consider sinus disorders. Such problems are not among the chief underlying factors of tinnitus. Rather, it is only a trigger of the disease. Among the actual, and most important causes of tinnitus is an elevated blood pressure, and this happens due to a wrong lifestyle. These problems can be treated only through the holistic approach.

Cause of Tinnitus: A Brief Overview

Excess stress-levels or a depressed state of mind: Tinnitus can occur even when one or both the ears is apparently okay, and medical tests also do nothing to prove otherwise. Such problems, brought about by excessive stress, can be solved only via a holistic approach to treatment, and adoption of a healthy lifestyle.

Acoustic Neuroma problems: Acoustic Neuroma can bring about tinnitus in the form of a tumor and it generally remains benign. The cranial nerve, which extends from the brain to the inner parts of the ear, and is in charge of all auditory and related controlling functions, is the place where the tumor might develop. Acoustic Neuroma usually results in tinnitus in one of the ears, and the problem is also known as Vestibular Schwannoma.

Factors related to Menieres disease: Tinnitus is also often brought about by this problem, which affects the functioning of the internal regions of the ear. A characteristic ear fluid exerts pressure, and this, in many cases can be a direct cause of tinnitus.

Injuries in the head or the neck: These injuries often affect the way in which the human brain works, and can also damage the nerves in these. Such damages can easily affect the ear too. As a result, a person might develop tinnitus.

Factors related to old age : As a person grows senile, (s)he can totally, or partially, lose his/her powers to listen. This phenomenon becomes apparent after a person crosses 60 years of age, and is medically known as Presbycusis.

Having to hear sounds at high volumes: This is also a probable cause. If a person has to continuously hear noises at extremely high pitches, a constant ringing noise seems to be audible to him/her, even when there exists no such source. For example, this is common in people who are employed in stamping mills or forging jobs. Tinnitus problems can also result from the shot guns that are rather heavy, and have to be placed on the shoulder for firing. Also, if individuals are constantly exposed to the loud beats of music at night clubs, they are prone to tinnitus attacks.

Deposits of ear wax: If ear wax gets accumulated in the ear over time, it might cross the prescribed maximum level. When this limit is crossed, tinnitus problems may crop up.

Atherosclerosis: It refers to cases when deposits of cholesterol constrict the blood vessels of the human body. When the blood vessels of either the middle or the inner portions of the ear are affected, tinnitus can be a direct result. The inherent elasticity that accounts for other cardiac functions are also lost as a result. The affected person hears such auditory impulses as hissing or whooshing noises, apart from other pulsating sounds. Both the ears are affected in such cases.

A high level of blood pressure: This factor brings about tinnitus problems in much the same way as the factor explained above. When cholesterol, in high amounts, gets accumulated on the arteries, the supply of blood to the head and the neck gets reduced. This is the prime reason for the resultant tinnitus attacks. If patients opt for correct, and early, holistic treatments, these problems can be avoided.

Head tumors or neck tumors : These tumors increase the pressure on the vascular neoplasm (i.e., the blood vessels present in the human head and neck). Tinnitus can be a common result of such problems.

Malformation of the Arteriovenous system : If the connecting channels of the arteries and veins are not right, the problem is called AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation). Tinnitus caused due to this factor generally affects one of the ears of individuals.

Cause of Tinnitus: Certain Medicines Also Play A Part

There actually exist certain forms of drugs that can give rise to tinnitus problems. What is worse, the problems can get all the more intensified by the application of some medicines.

The medicines that are generally held responsible for aggravating tinnitus problems can be listed as under:

Various types of antibiotics, including erythromycin, chloramphenicol, bleomycin, tetracycline or vancomycin.

Cancer-treating drugs (e.g. Vincristine and Mechlorethamine).

Diuretic medications (e.g., Furosemide, Bumetanide and Ethacrynic acid).

Formulations for treatment of malaria and certain similar ailments (e.g. Quinine drugs).

Even aspirin can result in giving rise to constant ringing sounds in the ear, particularly if individuals are in the habit of taking high doses of the medicines, and that too, over a long time.

All the basic causes of tinnitus have to be properly detected, and then, treated accordingly. Tinnitus can be caused by many reasons and so it is a multi-factorial ailment. However, the conventional remedies do not find out what the causes of the disease might be, and deal only with the symptoms of the problem. Naturally, the relief that they provide are not of a lasting nature. On the contrary, the entire human body is deemed as a single structure under the holistic approaches to treat tinnitus. This approach advises the affected person to change his/her lifestyle, and also recommend certain medicines and other herbal remedies. The holistic methods find out each of the reasons behind the tinnitus problems, and correct the issues. Hence, it is hardly surprising that holistic methods work the best as curative measures for tinnitus.

Vow Of a Cyclist Successful Training

June 24th, 2009

Each person has by birth an inbuilt strength to perform an activity of a better quality than the other. Likewise, a cyclist can ride miles together at ease with whatever constitution he is made up of. Leaving this ability aside, there is no method to gauge a cyclist’s performance except by the type of training he has undertaken. If a cyclist forces his body to adjust to a definite physical adaptation, his riding capacity and performance are enhanced to a great extent.

To plan a successful training program, the cyclist has to understand as to what happens to his body when certain training methods are implemented. The body of the cyclist is made to adapt higher standards of stress and therefore performance by subjecting it to the calculated training stimuli during a methodical training program. He must get prepared mentally before deciding to better his cycling techniques. Next comes, the nutritional diet and the proper equipment. Top athletes of the world have devised scientific principles, by trial and error method which may be useful for the aspirant in cycling.

A cyclist who wants to develop his own techniques is groping in the dark. Training is much superior to random exercising or performing irregular workouts. The purpose of stress training is to conserve one’s energy even after performing strenuous acts. The cyclist’s commitment to this type of training makes him approach it in a scientific way. At the novice stage of development, he should not imitate an advanced stage cyclist or follow his training plan. This leads to injuries due to overuse.

He can develop his own type of training as long as he understands how that workout stresses his body systems equally. For a cyclist, training volume means the number of miles covered by riding the bike in a week. This value is logged as a reference for the volume of work done.

Next in the order of importance is the intensity which is the capacity to exert in a given period of time. This can be understood by the cyclist’s guessing or measured with instruments like power meter, heart rate monitor or VO2 max testing machine fitted to the cycle. There is no point in exerting with high intensity at the start of the training program.

Training frequency has to be known as the number of training packages undertaken in a given period of time. To determine the quality of a training week, frequency attempts to ascertain the difficulty factor. If a cyclist covers 600 Kilometers in 5 days which was deemed to be covered in 7 days, his frequency is said to have increased.
